Successful ignition of gas turbine matching - assisting Chuzhou natural gas peak shaving power plant
At 23:10 on March 16, 2024, the second gas turbine of Chuzhou Natural Gas Peak shaving Power Plant of Huaihe Energy Group was successfully ignited once! This has laid a solid foundation for the complete start-up, grid connected power generation, and successful completion of the 168 hour full load trial operation of Unit 2, following the successful operation of Unit 1 with high standards.
The project plans to construct two 450MW gas steam combined cycle power generation units, which is a key project for peak shaving gas electricity in the "Anhui Province Three Year Action Plan for Power Supply Guarantee (2022-2024)". It is also the first natural gas peak shaving power plant project in Anhui Province to obtain project code, approval, start construction, and put into operation for power generation. It has the advantages of high efficiency, fast start stop, and small footprint.
Jiangsu Huaqiang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. provided the intake system and exhaust diffusion section of the gas turbine for the project. After winning the bid for the project, the design task was heavy, the product quality requirements were strict, and the product manufacturing and on-site installation cycle were short.
